Who We Are?
Webset Media is owned and led by Thomas Calkins, based in Houston, Texas.
Thomas brings over 20 years of experience in the digital marketing space, starting as an affiliate marketer and web developer before transitioning into conversion optimization and digital analytics.
Some of his original websites were in the poker affiliate niche, promoting free poker tournaments and the top online poker sites.
Throughout his career, Thomas has explored various web projects, each focused on blending creativity with data-driven strategies:
- Fitness affiliate website – Thomas built and grew a site promoting supplements and eBooks, eventually selling his own eBook and workout plan. He focused on organic SEO and email marketing to drive traffic and engagement.
- WordPress Theme Shop – He owned an online store selling themes and plugins tailored for bloggers and affiliates. Through careful funnel optimization and A/B testing, he improved the purchase conversion rate significantly. He also did a variety of WordPress and Web Development work for clients.
- Travel Blog – Thomas also built a successful travel blog that gained traffic through organic SEO, social media and email marketing. He monetized the site using Mediavine ads and strategic affiliate partnerships.
- Custom Tableau and Looker Studio Reporting – Thomas has created several unique web performance, SEO, and digital analytics reports with Looker Studio and Tableau for a variety of client websites.
- CRO Research and 75+ A/B tests – Thomas has done several full conversion research projects along with over 75 unique A/B tests for various client websites.
